Activity Highlights

SNRC will celebrate National Nursing Home Week May 10-16th. This year’s theme will be “Sharing each other’s Wisdom.” This event is one of the most important of the year! We will celebrate our Nursing Facility Residents and Staff. Gayle and Karen our Activities leaders have many fun activities planned for that week. This gives us something to look forward to amidst this Covid-19 pandemic! I’m thankful we are all healthy and continue to stay that way!

May is a month for many celebrations; it is the month we cherish and celebrate our mothers! I for one, am very thankful for my God-fearing mother who has taught me a lot about life. We celebrate this wonderful day on May 10th.

Cinco de Mayo is another celebratory day observed for its significance. Held on May 5th, this day is observed to commemorate the Mexican Army’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla, May 5th, 1862!

Memorial Day Is a United Federal Holiday, commemorating those who have died in Military service to their Country. It was originally known as Decoration Day, an occasion to decorate the graves of those who died in war.
