August Activity Highlights

The residents enjoyed celebrating Independence Day! Many sung karaoke while others enjoyed listening and eating some sweet summer treats. Special thank you to Denise, our activities director, for all the yummy treats.

Water Balloon splash was a fun way to beat the heat. Everyone enjoyed splashing our Administrator with water balloons. How could we resist?

The Summer fun continues this month, check out some fun dates with activities:

• 8/10- Rock painting/ National Smores Day @ 2&3 PM
• 8/15- Beat the Heat with Water Balloons @ 2 PM
• 8/22- Glamour Shots @ 3 PM
• 8/25- Magic Show @ 2 PM
• 8/30- Beach Party @ 11 AM
• 8/31- Karaoke @3 PM

Kona Ice will be making a stop at Springfield Nursing and Rehab every Thursday from 1-2 pm until August 3rd. Stop by and cool off with a cup of Kona Ice!
