Pumpkin Patch

Is was a great day at the Pumpkin Patch here at SNRC! The residents were able to walk or roll around the patch to search for the perfect pumpkin. We enjoyed fresh popped popcorn, hot apple pies donated by McDonald’s and Hardee’s of Springfield, hot chocolate and lastly warm apple cider. What a fun day! Once they picked their pumpkins, they were able to paint/decorate their pumpkin. They all done an amazing job. A special thank you to Rian Carney, Gayle Worthington and Karen Whitehead for putting the patch together and nursing staff for all their hard work in getting the residents ready, without you this wouldn’t have been made possible.
