Short-Term Therapy Success Stories

“No one treats you better than family!” no truer saying. Tonya A. was admitted to our facility following a hospital stay 9/11/18. Tonya, homeless at the time with family thousands of miles away pulled at my heartstrings. She had no income and no- where to turn. She was a wonderful patient who befriended everyone, and everyone loved to be in her presence with her contagious smile and laugh. With no income and no plans after her therapy stay, she hadn’t a clue what to do next. With the amazing help of First Baptist Church of Springfield, who volunteers for Church Service here at the facility and our staff as well as the amazing people of this Community came together to help Tonya. She now has a home. We are so BLESSED to have been able to know this wonderful woman, and cannot thank First Baptist Church, Staff and members of this astounding Community enough for the help they have provided to Tonya who is now and 2will forever be aa part of our family here at SNRC!
