October 5th 2017 Springfield Nursing and Rehab hosted a Deficiency Free Celebration at the facility to congratulate our staff on a job well done for being deficiency free this year. Among the visitors, we had the National Healthcare Association here along with the company CEO Logan Sexton. Both Logan and the Healthcare Association members spoke on the exceptional care and outstanding quality measures we have here at SNRC. We are so thrilled to have such a wonderful team who goes and above to beyond to continue to provide the best care possible to our residents and families.

In honor of Veterans Day November 11th this year we will be hosting a Celebration for our Veterans here at the facility with live music featuring Danny Dale and Norma Shouse along with some good food. Be sure and stop by to thank our Veterans and enjoy live music. We look forward to seeing you there!

In other news, Sam and Isaiah Kelly two of our wonderful volunteers were in a contest playing the fiddle in Alabama. They both won 4th place. Great job Sam and Isaiah, we at Springfield nursing and rehab enjoy listening to you both play on the fiddle, such wonderful talents.

A couple of other announcements, we know that the holidays are fastly approaching and you loved one may need some warm clothing. Every season we ask that family members check their loved ones closet and drawers to exchange seasonal items or to simply, de-clutter. We thank you for taking the time to do this and please let staff know if you have any questions.

We have some great activities planned for the residents this month and look forward to seeing our creative our residents can be!
