Success Story: Doris S.

Doris S. admitted to SNRC September 16th, following a hip fracture to her left hip post a fall at home. Doris, 93 years old, was living independently at home prior to her hospitalization. Upon admission to SNRC she needed maximum assistance with all ADLs including toileting and dressing, and moderate assistance with ambulating. After just 2 weeks of therapy Doris was able to return home independently. “The therapy team here is outstanding! At my age I didn’t think I would fully recover and continue to teach out in the community doing what I love, I’m grateful my hometown nursing facility was able to not only help me in my time of need but get me back to being able to educate others.“
