What other facility besides Springfield Nursing and Rehab would have baby goats being passed around. The residents sure enjoyed their sweet snuggles. Special thank you to our Activities Department for the beautiful Mother’s Day Luncheon. Mothers are such a blessing, and we felt blessed to share this special day with our residents and families. In Celebration of Derby Season our residents got creative and festive during a special hat-making activity! With feathers, flowers, ribbons, and lots of laughs, everyone designed their own unique derby hat. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with color, conversations, and community spirit. The finished hats were a hit- stylish, fun, and full of personality, just like our residents. We love seeing everyone come together to celebrate traditions in such a joyful and hands-on way.
